  1. I love Beijing, but it may be wise to move the capital eventually, not merely because of water reasons, but because there are too many universities in town. This may have been brilliant planning back in the Mao-era, where close surveillance could be kept on universities and it would be easy to recruit for government ministries, but in the future this may lead to a repeat of ’89 if the youth culture changes in the future.
