Can anyone with enough knowledge on the matter convey how the world thought about the French Revolution in the 1860s or about the American Revolution in the 1850s or about the American civil war (that abolished slavery and built the Nation that has become the America we know today) in the 1930s?
70 years is a long time...but not for China...for good and bad reasons all seemed very recent.
